Discover the Maison Margiela new collection that reiterates the brand's core philosophy. A line-up of pieces perfect for the sweltering heat of summer, this collection is an exercise in making fashion through each single piece.
Made from leather with handmade folds, this Tabi mule features a worn treatment and a Tabi split toe, inspired by the traditional 15th century Japanese sock bearing the same name – launched for the Maison's debut collection in 1989. It captures the avant-garde and insubordinate spirit of the Maison and is a heritage classic that continues to be explored in each collection.

The peculiarity of products made of natural leather is the unevenness of the color, the presence of folds, veins and minor surface imperfections. This should be considered not as a defect, but as an integral sign of high-quality leather. When creating products from genuine leather, a minimum amount of processing agents is used, as they can affect the appearance of the product.
In order to preserve the appearance of the product, it is very important to observe the following rules during use:
1. Avoid contact with water, fatty substances, as well as perfumes, cosmetics and light-colored clothes.
2. Do not leave the product in direct sunlight or in a room with high humidity.
3. If leather products and accessories get wet, it is not recommended to wipe their surface. It is better to blot excess moisture with a soft cloth of natural color.
4. Do not use care products that are not intended for this product. Such as shoe polish, oil, stain remover, alcohol-containing substances, trichlorethylene and solvents.
5. In order for the product to keep its shape for a long time, it should be stored in a special fabric bag filled with paper. Do not store the product in polyethylene and nylon bags.
